Fees & Funding
Daffodils Fees
At Daffodils, fees are calculated on a daily or weekly basis and vary depending upon the days and the numbers of sessions that your child attends the nursery. We will provide you with detailed information regarding fees when you attend a viewing and in advance of registration.
Fees are payable in advance and we accept payments on a weekly, monthly or termly basis and are registered to accept payment via childcare vouchers.
Our fees are subject to increase on an annual basis and we review these in September of each year.
Assistance with Childcare Costs
The UK government provides a number of ways to assist families with the costs of childcare and the Childcare Choices website contains a lot of information about the schemes available. The website can be found by following the link below:
Daffodils are registered with the local authority and so all of the funding options are available at Daffodils subject to your child being eligible. Should you wish to discuss any of the funding methods and how they work at our nurseries, please do feel free to contact us.
15 Hours Free Entitlement Funding
Early Years Funding is available to all children from the start of the term (January, April or September) following their 3rd birthday.
Should you wish to avail this for your child at Daffodils we offer the 15 hours as 3 morning or 3 afternoon sessions for 38 weeks a year.
This option is also available for children who are aged 2, should they be eligible. You can check eligibility by visiting the website above.
30 Hours Funding
If parents meet the criteria outlined below, their child aged 3 or 4 may be eligible for 30 hours of free funding for 38 weeks of the year. The criteria is as follows:
-
You must be a working family in England;
-
You and your partner must each expect to earn (on average) at least £120 a week; and
-
You or your partner do not expect to earn £100,000 per annum or more.
Parents can check their eligibility by visiting the childcare choices website and if eligible you will receive an eligibility code which you will need to provide to the nursery manager so that we can check with the local authority.
If you are eligible, your child can either attend Daffodils for 3 full days a week, or for 1 full-day and 4 half-day’s.
Tax Free Childcare
Tax free childcare is an alternative to the childcare voucher system.
Essentially, if you meet the criteria (outlined on the childcare choices website) you can open an online account to pay for registered childcare. Through this account, the government will top-up any money you pay into the account (25%) up to a maximum of £2,000 per child per annum.
All our nurseries are registered and so should you wish to make payment via this method please discuss with the nursery manager.
